2026 ELECTION NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an election to be held in the School District of White Lake on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, the following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed. The term of office for a school board member is three years (unless otherwise noted) beginning on Monday, April 27, 2026.

School Board Member - At Large Incumbent - Andrew Roberts                                                     
School Board Member - Town of Wolf River Incumbent - Nicholas DeHart

School Board Member - Town of Evergreen Incumbent - Kenneth Sitsler

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that a Campaign Registration Statement and a Declaration of Candidacy, must be filed no later than 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in the office of the school district clerk located at 405 Bissell Street, P. O. Box 67, White Lake, WI between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Forms may be filed personally with the school district clerk or district deputy clerk of elections or mailed to the address noted above.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that if an incumbent does not file a Notification on Non-candidacy by 5 p.m., on December 26, 2025, and does not seek re-election, the deadline for filing nomination papers, Declaration of Candidacy, and Campaign Registration Statement will be extended an additional 72 hours.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that if a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Important Dates 2026 Election:
December 1, 2025 -  Date most candidates begin to file Candidacy papers
December 26, 2025, 5 p.m. – Deadline for incumbents to file notification of Non Candidacy
January 6, 2026, 5 p.m. – Deadline for candidates to file Declaration of Candidacy and Campaign Finance Registration forms

                               February 13, 2026  Write-in candidate registration deadline for Primary Election

February 17, 2026 – Spring Primary (if needed)

April 3, 2026 Write-In candidate registration deadline for Spring Election 

April 7, 2026 – Spring Election

April 20, 2026 - Elected persons take and file oath of office
April 27, 2026 - Elected persons take office

PLEASE NOTE: The District office will be closed December 24, 25 & 31, 2025 , and January 1, 2026. Regular business hours for the District Office are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The office will be open until the 5:00 p.m. deadline on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, for acceptance of candidacy documents
