What does the White Lake School District bring to the community?

• The school district opens its facilities to the community for numerous events throughout the year including:

  • Numerous community run sporting events: volleyball clinic, basketball clinic, little league, 3 on 3 tournament, pick up basketball, pickleball league, karate

  • Community Events such as concerts, Homecoming, Veteran’s Day, Blood Drive, 4H, Family Engagement nights, Book Fair, Christmas Store, and our Bee events. 

  • Host for Fire Department and Law Enforcement Trainings

  • Partner with the Fire Department for the use of facilities and equipment, including use of facilities for food prep for the 4th of July Fundraiser

  • Fitness Center: partnership with clinic to provide greater access to White Lake patients. The door is accessed thousands of times per year.

  • Thanksgiving Dinner

  • Star PTO runs numerous events for kids including: Trunk or Treat, a Halloween dance, Valentines day dance, Santa, Easter Bunny

  • The school has opened its doors during power outages to ensure everyone in our community has access to clean water, hot water, and heat. We also have completed the installation of a generator that will power the entire school in the event of power loss.  Access will be available to the community in the event of extended power outages.
