Community Partnership
While the school district is here to serve the community, we also benefit greatly from our community.
The school forest was made into a usable space for classrooms, at no cost to the school district. These grounds were not usable for classrooms prior to 2020. Over the past few years many members of the community donated their time to build these grounds into something the school could really use. Benches were built and donated. A fire ring was installed. Local government used equipment to help make trails.
The school fitness center is a large part of the community. A nominal fee is charged to use the facilities and that fee is good for as long as someone who has a key fob and renews each year before July 1st.Â
The softball field was built with absolutely no school money being used, as promised. Many hardworking individuals raised funds in a variety of ways. Many contractors donated time through the use of equipment and discounts. Even local government chipped in at times with the fire department watering the field and through the use of equipment at times. The result is an amazing facility that is used by little league, our students, and the community.
