    The White Lake School District is seeking an energetic, teacher leader for the 2017-18 school year. The Instructional Coaching position is new to the White Lake School district, and the individual will be responsible for teaching two elementary math classes daily, in addition to supporting the elementary team in implementing research based strategies in the areas of math and literacy. The goal for this position is to work collaboratively with elementary teachers to utilize best practices to improve student achievement.

    The successful candidate will demonstrate characteristics of a growth mindset, collaboration, positive attitude and enthusiasm for teaching and learning. The individual will also have a passion for student success and a desire to keep current on best practices that drive student achievement. Opportunities are available and teachers are encouraged to become involved in a variety of extra-curricular activities, teacher leader roles, and involvement with the White Lake community. The White Lake School District offers teachers the opportunity to earn alternate compensation above the base salary by completing activities that improve teaching, learning and encourage involvement within the district and community.
