Social Studies Teacher:

The White Lake School District is seeking an energetic, positive social studies teacher for the 2018-19 school year. This position is responsible for all social studies subjects grades 7-12 including Geography, US History, World History, American Government and other dual credit or elective courses. The successful candidate will demonstrate characteristics of a growth mindset, collaboration, positive attitude and enthusiasm for teaching and learning. Opportunities are available and teachers are encouraged to become involved in a variety of extra-curricular activities, teacher leader roles, and involvement with the White Lake community. The White Lake School District offers teachers the opportunity to earn alternate compensation above the base salary by completing activities that improve teaching, learning and encourage involvement within the district and community.
